This notice explains how Everlight Therapy handles personal information collected through this website (everlighttherapyguelph.ca). It covers the website only.

The contact form and email are not secure or confidential.Please do not include personal health information — for example details about your symptoms, diagnoses, or history — when you contact us.

What we collect, and why

When you use the contact form, we collect the information you enter: your first name, your last name (optional), your email address, and your message. We use it only to read and respond to your enquiry.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information — such as your IP address and browser type — to keep the site secure and running. We do not use it to identify you.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising, or third-party analytics. The fonts are served from this website itself, not a third party.

On the Resources page, video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube, and if you choose to play a video it loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced service (youtube-nocookie.com). Watching a video connects you to YouTube, which has its own privacy practices.

Service providers we use

We rely on a few providers to run the site and respond to you:

Cloudflare hosts the website.
Resend delivers the email from the contact form to us.
Jane handles booking. It is a separate scheduling and practice-management service; when you book, you provide information directly to Jane under its own privacy policy.

These providers process information on our behalf, or — in Jane's case — under their own agreement with you. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep the messages you send through the contact form only as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence.

Your choices

Therapy records

Information you share within therapy is separate from this website. It is protected under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the standards of Kate's regulatory college.
